Step 1: I Consult With You... (this can be done either face to face at a consultation appointment or online).
Once you’ve made contact to enquire about or booked your appointment, I’ll interview you about your daily makeup routine. What colors do you enjoy wearing? Pinks, nudes, reds, browns, or corals? I will work with you to find the perfect shade that best compliments your skin tone. We’ll discuss symmetry and any colour correction that may be recommended also at this time.
I’ll also take this time to discuss your medical health to check you are suitable for the treatment and also this is a chance for you to ask any questions or queries you may have about the treatment.
Step 2: On treatment day....
After sitting down to fill out our pre treatment medical consent forms and finalising colour choice. I will then offer you a topical cream based anaesthetic to apply to your lips. We will let this sit for 20 minutes in order to minimise treatment discomfort as much as possible.
Step 3: We Outline Your New Lips...
After we’ve gone over all of your options and chosen a colour that you love and numbed your lips I will then outline your lips. This is to ensure perfect symmetry, as well as a shape that compliments the natural highlights and contours of your face.
Step 4: We Begin...
I begin applying lip colour once we have determined you are feeling relaxed and pain free. Lip colour is applied meticulously with a sterile, medical grade needle and digital cosmetic tattooing machine designed specifically for detailed make up application. (Rest assured all items that touch your skin are one time use only and are disposed of after the treatment.) During the tattooing process I can apply secondary numbing cream to ease discomfort. The whole process can take between 1-2.5 hours depending on treatment choice i.e Lip Liner, Lip Blush or Full Lip Colour.
Step 5: Reveal your new lips!...
After your treatment is complete, I reveal your new full lip colour! You can now enjoy all day, every day, smudge-proof lip colour. A complimentary perfection top up visit is recommended after 4-8 weeks, which is included in your price.
Please remember lip swelling and darkness of colour is completely normal for up to 48 hours after treatment. Appropriate aftercare advice and ointment will be provided at the end of your treatment.
