✨Dark lip tone neutralisation✨ skin with a higher concentration of melanin can a prove challenge for lip tattooing. Lips with darken undertones often require 1-2 neutralisation sessions first to bring the overall lip colour lighter. After healing we can then tattoo the target lip colour on top. Patience is key with these type of lips! Results are worth it though! As always do your research, darker lip tones do pose a risk of hyperpigmentation (the skin healing darker than its original colour). I explain the risks, pros and cons with all my clients in their consultation so that they can make an informed choice on the appropriate semi permanent make up treatment for their individual skin type. This client’s lips are fully healed after one session ✨💕 #darkliptattooing #melaninrichlipblush #liptattooingbristol
